Auditorium
The Marga Auditorium is available on hire for seminars, workshops, training sessions and other related programmes. We are one of the few air conditioned Auditoriums in the country that provide simultaneous translation facilities (For three languages- English, Sinhala and Tamil) with individual microphones and headphones for 35 persons. Arrangements could be made for proceedings to be recorded and video filmed. Refreshments and meals could also be arranged on request.
Our charges are as follows:
Auditorium (Air Conditioned) Rs: 5,000/= for the first five hours.
Rs: 750/= for every additional hour or part thereof.
Hire charges include the cost of electricity, furniture, sound system simultaneous
translation facility and the services of an officer of the Marga Institute.
Reservation of the auditorium has to be made one week in advance.
The full payment must be made 3 days in advance of the required date.
An additional refundable cash deposit of Rs: 3,000/= is required.
This will be refunded after deducting the cost of any damages
and for
the use of auditorium facilities in excess of the stipulated time limits.
Video cassettes to be used should be handed over in advance and will be
accepted for screening subject to these being free of fungus and in good condition.
The Organization /Institution hiring the auditorium is responsible for the careful use of the building, furniture, equipment etc. and the payment of any damage caused during use.
Any matrial brought into the auditorium and its premises should be removed withing 24 hours of the termination of the reservation. Thereafter the items will remain in the premises at the client's risk. A storage charge of Rs. 100/= per day will be levied.
The hiring of the auditorium and facilities is at the sole discretion of the Marga Institue. The auditorium will not be hired for private functions/ social or for political purposes.
Applications for use of the auditorium could be obtained on request from the institute during working hours.(8.30am - 4.30pm on week days)

(for each C 60 cassette complete after recoding)
03.TV - Rs. 150.00 per hour
04. VCR - Rs. 250.00 per hour
05.TV & VCR - Rs. 350.00 per hour
06. Multi Media Projector - Rs. 3500 per hour
