The Marga Library, carries over 22,000 volumes and 115 journals which focus on a wide variety of subjects dealing with development in Sri Lanka from the pre-independence era up to today.

  • Marga is the designated depository for the World Bank Publications.
  • The de Krester collection carries rare and hard to find books and documents related to Sri Lanka
  • Hansards from pre-independent period onwards.

Special arrangements for borrowing books

The annual subscription is Rs. 1000/=
Membership fee for local students
(up to University students) is Rs.500/=
Fees for corporate members Rs. 3000/=
5 staff members of the organization

Daily fee

Service charge for external users will be
Rs. 100/= per day in the case of adults
and Rs. 50/= per day for local students.
